Module Development for
Outcome-Based Training |

Methods: Presentations, Case Illustrations, Group Discussion and
Exercises
This session will present concepts related to organizing
learning materials. It involves selection, adaptation, and

materials that will be used by trainees in the learning situation.
Central to organization for learning is the development of
learning modules. Learning modules are self-contained packages

the “large conversation” with the rest of the participants, which
may take place during this Plenary session. Based on comments and
suggestions from their peers in the learning circles, participants
will then write up the summary of the relevant and appropriate new
concepts, principles, and/or tools which can be used to improve
their training tasks or responsibilities into their daily
