| Mr. Chengbo Wang is Chief, Division of Training and Program of
the National Training Center for Executives in Poor Areas of
China (NTC). He is mainly responsible for NTC's curriculum
development, training activities arrangements and cooperative
projects both at national and international level. Since 1995,
he has been involved in the Leadership in Environment and
Development (LEAD) - China Program and in 1997 he became a
Coordinator in charge of the implementation of training and
coordination with the Chinese governmental sectors, etc. From
1985 to 1988, he worked as an agronomist for Hunan Agriculture
Bureau engaged in the new agro-technology innovation and
extension.
He is now the Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Economics in Renmin University of China. He got a B.Sc. degree in Agronomy from Hunan Agricultural College and M.S. degree in Biology from Beijing Agricultural University. He also attended many national and international training courses in the areas of Rural Economics, Development Economics, Feasibility Study on Investment Project, Project Management, Leadership and Computer Skills, etc. His research and training interests focus on issues related to environment and development, especially in an international context. |
