| Mr. Jemal Shoa is currently the Head of Department of
Management Studies in Ethiopian Civil Service College which is
located in Addis Ababa. Between 1982 and 1988, he was a Manpower
Development and Training Expert with the National Water
Resources Commission. From 1989 to 1995, he served as Dean of
Students and Head of Administration and Finance at Water
Technology Institute in southern Ethiopia. Mr. Shoa has been
Lecturer and Head of Department of Management Studies since
1996.
Mr. Shoa obtained a B.A. degree in Educational Administration from Addis Ababa University and M.A. degree in Public Policy and Administration from the Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands. His research interest includes Training, Employee Performance Evaluation, Human Resource Planning, Absenteeism and other related Human Resource Management areas. In addition to teaching courses like Public Administration, Organization and Management, Human Resource Management and Business Administration, Mr. Shoa has been involved in developing teaching materials for Human Resource Management and Introduction to Management Courses. |
