Dr. Zarina SAMSUDIN

Dr. Zarina Samsudin is the Deputy Director and Lecturer at the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia (CITM) at University Science Malaysia. She is an active academic member who has been involved with computers in educational activities since 1986 while pursuing her postgraduate studies in the United States.

She was appointed Chairperson of CITM's Continuing Education program that offers training activities to students, schoolteachers, university lecturers, government officials and private sectors through programs conducted at CITM. She has coordinated and conducted programs to cater to the demands and needs on topics such as Training in IT and Use of IT for teaching and learning purposes for a variety of clients in the government and private sectors. She has been teaching computer-related courses over a period of 12 years. Types of courses included instructional technology, media production and software application skills.

She has been appointed as consultant to numerous agencies for the set-up of teaching and learning facilities such as for Petronas Technology University's IT Department. She is currently working in a team coordinating and conducting a one-year training package for MARA's Institute of Chemical Engineering Technology lecturers.
