At IKONOS, she has contributed to major online and offline projects as well as in consulting for international organizations seeking advise on their online communication ventures (UNEP Convention on Biological Diversity, IFAD, FAO Department of Fisheries among others). Her main areas of activity are information architecture (i.e. content organization and navigation design), content analysis, development and management, and project management. She contributes regularly to IKONOS' training programs by developing competency based training modules in areas of information and communication technologies.

She has a multidisciplinary background in linguistics and corporate communications. She holds a Translator's diploma in English and French and a degree in English Language and Literature from Instituto Universitario di Lingue Moderne, Milan.

After starting her career as an account officer for an international PR and corporate communications agency in Rome, she progressively moved to acquiring fresh skills in new media communication first with a master's degree in Multimedia Production at ISC, Milan and in close collaboration with IKONOS.

Ms. Pastore is also one of the founding members of Master New Media, a non-profit organization serving the global community of communication managers utilizing digital media for knowledge development and education. She is an Advisory Board member of the International Society for Improving Training Quality, as well as online editor and volunteer coordinator for the Society's online Knowledgevortal, isitQ.org.
