| Dr. Yoke Lim Khor is an Associate Professor and the Deputy
Dean of the School of Communication, University Science
Malaysia. She is concurrently the Chairperson for the Higher
Studies Programme in the School of Communication and has
spearheaded the introduction of three new graduate programmes
within the last three years. She obtained her M.A. in
Communications from the University of the Philippines and Ph.D.
in Sociology from University Malaya.
Her research areas include the promotion of health issues, communication and ethnicity, appropriate water usage and agriculture. She has served as consultant to several national and international agencies such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations where she was sent on missions to train agriculture officers on Strategic Extension Campaign in Thailand, Philippines, Sri Lanka, China and Malaysia. |
