| Dr. Adnan Hussein lectures at University Science Malaysia.
Currently he is the Deputy Dean, School of Communication,
University Science Malaysia (USM) in Penang, Malaysia. He is
actively involved in the implementation of the USM campus-wide
computerisation programme. He sits on the editorial board for
various journals including Kajian Malaysia (Journal of Malaysian
Studies) and Jurnal Kemanusiaan (Journal of Humanities).
Dr. Adnan holds a M.A (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University and Ph.D. in Communication from University of Utah. His current interest is in the area of electronic and desktop publishing and computer-mediated communication (CMC). He was a participant in the World Bank Institute's 1st Trainers Workshop on Improving Training Quality (ITQ-1) through Peer Learning and Distance Mentoring, and served as the Process & Formative Evaluation Officer during ITQ-2 Workshop. |
