| Dr. Steve Downey is a Research Fellow at the National Center
for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) located at the University
of Illinois where he currently is developing a next-generation,
comprehensive, e-Learning environment for use in public and
corporate education. A former National Science Foundation
Graduate Researcher and a William Chandler-Bagley Fellowship
recipient, his research interests include dynamically produced
online instructional systems, three-dimensional virtual reality
based concept mapping, and strategic planning of online
instructional programs.
In addition to holding a Doctor of Philosophy in instructional technology, Dr. Downey holds a Master of Education degree in Business Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. |
